Susan's design from the Sydney/New Zealand cruise, done in black, white and grey.   This was created for a wedding in beautiful Sonoma County.  The outline for each area - lazy diamonds.  The vertical stripes were created with the base of the smyrna cross - X -in Fyrewerks.  The top + stitch of the Smyrna is Kreiniks #8 Balger.  The background is 4 way continental.  The alternating black/white/gray areas are stitched in a multitude of bead techniques: vertical brick, diagonal tent every other row and filled in with #11 beads, and beads that were strung and couched.
